Lavender Honey

Common Name: Lavender

Botanical Name (Latin/Scientific): Lavandula augustifolia

Plant Part and Cut: dried buds

Specific preparation:

· Amount of ingredient #1 1/2 cup of honey

· Amount of ingredient #2 1/4 cup of lavender

Steps:

Step 1 – I measured 1/4 cup of lavender and pit it in my jar

Step 2 – I filled the remainder of the jar with honey

Step 3 – I waited for the air bubbles to leave and filled the rest of the jar

Step 4 - Stored in a cool dark place

Timing: 4 weeks

Heat up honey to sift out lavender buds, or you can leave them in.
