Quali-Tea Time with Rose Glow Tea Room- Brooke (different one)
I've always thought that women and tea go together like grilled cheese and tomato soup. For Women's History Month I am interviewing women about tea. This interview is with fellow entrepreneur, and founder & designer of thorn alexander, Brooke!
Question #1- You are throwing the tea party of your dreams. You can invite 5 people dead or alive. Who is on your list?
So hard to narrow down to five! I would love to circle around a pot of tea with Josephine Baker, Frida Kahlo, Gloria Steinem, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Nikita Gill.
I think I'm going to invite myself to that tea party. That guest list is amazing.
Question #2- What tea region would you like to visit?
I dream to someday enjoy masala chai in Jaipur and thé à la menthe in Morocco while taking little breaks from soaking in all of the food, culture and color.
I think we need to start planning a trip together!
Question #3- What is your favorite tea to drink while reading a book?
So hard to choose! While reading a book, I really love indulging in a tea made of spearmint leaves, lavender blossoms, rose petals, elder flowers, and red clover. Silkroad calls it Angelwater.

Question #4- What is your favorite tea pun?
Why doesn't anyone tell teapots secrets? They always spill the tea.

Question #5- Describe your best tea experience.
My favorite tea experiences by far were those while climbing Kilimanjaro. I had never been more sick in my life (I caught food poisoning on the way to the mountain), but there is something so magical about the restorative elements of a fresh ginger tea. Brewed for me by Mohamed, one of our guides, it nourished me back to health and was such a treasured kindness. I love nothing more than sitting on a boulder in the mountains, soaking up my surroundings while warming up to a steaming elixir.
