I have always thought that women and tea go together like cookies n' cream. For Women's History Month I am interviewing tea lovers, tea drinkers, tea newbies about their relationship with tea. My next interview is with my friend Amanda. Who is currently competing to have one of her recipes put on the menu at Hapy Kitchen in Portland, Oregon. So exciting.

Question #1- You are throwing the tea party of your dreams. You can invite five people dead or alive. who do you invite?

My grandmother, Mary Berry, Chef Anne (my culinary school chef), my friends Kim and Kristen.

I love how you invited Mary Berry!

Heck yeah! We need someone to bring the booze and the cake!

Question #2- What tea region would you like to visit?

Def thinking Indian or Nepalese.

Question #3- What is your favorite tea to drink while reading a book?

Oh easy- I make mint green tea with a squeeze of fresh clementine and then a twist of zest. Honey to sweeten.

Question #4- Describe your best tea experience

My best tea experience is after dinner when I would go to my friend's house. We would always have Earl Grey tea with her grandmother "Nanny." She was from England, talked like a sailor, loved sweets, and had to have her tea and tell her stories.

That sounds amazing! Thank you for taking the time. Good luck in the competition!
