The Tea Journey The Tea Journey

Hi all,

This is my first post for my website and business. It is very frightening and nerve wracking. I am currently working full time and trying to launch this tea business. I have decided that I will post about topics beyond tea. I am a multifaceted person and I would like my company to represent that. Even though I was an English major in college my grammar sucks. If you are the type of person that likes to pick out grammatical errors to make yourself feel better, by all means feel free to do so.

At this very moment I am drinking a cup of tea for my tea sommelier certification. There are 18 teas I have to taste and research in addition to the teas I tasted during my two-day intensive in Las Vegas.

Today's tea is Ying Ming Yunnan. It is from the Yunnan Province in China. It is only produced in March and April when the air is moist and cool. It is actually a really pretty loose leaf tea. What I love the most about tasting these teas are the legends associated with many of the teas. For example today's tea wouldn't have been made possible without Kong Ming.

Look it up! Then come back to my blog. I'm trying to post at least twice a week. I promise the content will get better.
